This folder contains the papers shared between Edward Apree and Jay G. Ridinger (agent/advisor) over the course of 1963. The first item is a folder of papers that contain a detailing letter from Mr. William F. Mooney (President of Lake Forest Rotary) to Apree on the Finance, Production, Management, and Marketing of the publication The History of Lake Forest. Hand-written notes to Apree on the deal given by Ridinger. The second item is the same set of papers from Mooney, but Ridinger includes more specific notes for Apree to consider. The third item is a letter between Jay Ridinger and Del Naggatz of North Shore Group Newspapers-Ridinger suggests to call on Apree as the speaker about Lake Forest History. The fourth item is a letter from Ridinger to Apree discussing the first authorization to finance his book's publication. The fifth item is a letter between Ridinger and Naggatz accepting Apree as a speaker on History of Lake Forest. The sixth item is a letter between William Mooney and Jay Ridinger pushing forward the issue of distribution and cementing the publication of Apree's book. The final item is a letter by Ridinger to Apree saying that the deal to publish the book has "borne fruit" and will go forward.
