The second document is the first 2-page introduction of Seitz's manuscript written by Edward Arpee. The final item in this folder is a compiled set of factual information papers from 2011 on Col. Seitz. This set of information is mainly provided to shed more light on the personal character of Mr. Seitz and by extension his connection to Edward Apree.
This paper titled "James R. Getz: Collector and Activist," provides a broad and general biographical sketch. It gives a useful point of reference for any researcher studying the first series of papers and the collection as a whole.
